ITINERARY PLAN

Day 1 – Arrival in Manali & Rest.

Arrive in Manali by morning and check in to your accommodation. Rest and freshen up, then explore Old Manali or Mall Road at your own pace. In the evening, join the trek briefing and gear check session. Enjoy dinner and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 – Manali to Dhundi Drive & Trek to Bakarthach.

Drive from Manali to Dhundi village (about 15 km, 30–40 minutes), a peaceful spot nestled in the mountains. From Dhundi, start your trek to Bakarthach, a scenic alpine meadow known for its stunning views of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. The trek is moderate, taking around 3–4 hours, passing through forests and open meadows. Bakarthach is a great campsite or day-stop to enjoy the serene mountain landscape.

Day 3 – Bakarthach to Beas Kund & back to Bakarthach.

Start early from Bakarthach and trek uphill for about 3–4 hours to reach Beas Kund, the glacier source of the Beas River, at around 3,650 meters. Enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and the crystal-clear glacial lake. After spending time at Beas Kund, retrace your steps back to Bakarthach for an overnight stay.

Day 4 – Bakarthach to Dhundi & Drive to Manali.

After breakfast, trek downhill from Bakarthach to Dhundi, which takes about 2–3 hours through scenic forests and meadows. From Dhundi, drive back to Manali and check in. Rest and relax after the trek.

Day 5 – Departure from Manali.

After breakfast, check out and depart from Manali with cherished memories and a heart full of mountain moments.
