From Chhatru, we drive through the stark and stunning landscapes of Spiti Valley toward Kunzum La (4,551m) — the high mountain pass that connects Lahaul and Spiti. The route is rugged, remote, and dramatic, offering views of glaciers, scree slopes, and snow-capped peaks. Day 4 – Chandratal to Tokpo Yongma Trek.
A demanding yet scenic trek through steep ravines, boulder fields, and glacial streams. The trail features occasional grassy patches and ascends gradually toward snow-covered ridges. A stream crossing near camp may require an early morning pass or a search for a snow bridge upstream. Rugged and remote, this stretch offers a true Himalayan wilderness experience.
Day 5 – Topko Yongma to Tokpo Gongma Trek.
Trek through a narrow valley flanked on both sides by snow-capped mountains. Star walk early as possible, since this stream to be cross, while the flow of the water is less early in the day. A short walk after crossing the river, here the valley opens out on a broad plateau where the camp is set on a delightful grassy patch

Upon reaching the pass, reconnect with the Manali–Leh highway and drive back to Manali for a comfortable stay.
